Solids and swimming

tired kumara then avocado. he's not overly enthused about it. Going to try banana on the weekend. Messy but might be a winner.

LJ had his second swimming lesson today. He's still a bit stunned (it's noisy there and he is maybe a bit young still) but he did grab some of the toys this time. No kicking or splashing or giggling though (like the other babies). They do a thing where you pull them off the edge then swim them back to it to get them to reach out and grab edge (in theory teaching them to go back to edge if they fall in a pool ) and last time he did nothing but this time he put his hands on the ledge. But it was hard getting him to sit on the edge to start off with as he was very taken with a metal drain on the side and was leaning over to touch that. I decided against his head going under water, maybe next time.


He slept 6.45pm to 6.20am last night. What a good boy! First all night and totally unexpected. Don't expect it to be a regular thing but at least know it's possible.
